Water pump for early A series engines as used in Mini, Morris Minor, MG Midget and Austin-Healey Sprite and others up to about 1968. This is an aluminium bodied replacement for the original cast iron pump with a take off for the bypass hose and the shallow impellor. From 1968 a deeper impellor was used. This pump fits Spridget 948, 1098 and 1275cc up to (e) 12CC to (e) 12CE/Da/H873, Mini up to 1968, Morris Minor from 1952-1971. If you are not sure if your car has a shallow or deep impellor the shallow is proud of the pump body by about 5/16o, the deep impellor is proud by about 5/8o.
